Kanchanaburi Three Day Tours

This tour combines the best of what the two provinces of Ratchaburi and Kanchanaburi have to offer. Highlights include

Day One

We'll pick you up from your hotel at 07:00 and drive through to the Floating Market at Damnoen Saduak. You'll have an hour on the boat which will take you through the fascinating system of canals.

Then it's on to the War Cemetery in Kanchanaburi where your English-speaking guide will join you. From there it's only a short hop to the Bridge over the River Kwai where you can take a walk before boarding the train for the ride on the Death Railway.

This spectacular rail journey will terminate at Nam Tok station, which is the end of the line, passing over the wooden Wang Pho viaduct of the way. The train is frequently late, but you can wander through the market while you're waiting.

Your hotel the first night is on the floating raft where you'll be able to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the river and local wildlife. The river is quite swift here so you won't be able to swim, however you'll sleep well tonight for sure.

Day Two

After breakfast we'll take you up to Hellfire Pass. First stop is the Hellfire Pass Museum and then you'll be able to walk down into Konyu Cutting where the memorial is. You'll need decent shoes for this walk as the track is set between the trees and there's lots of roots to step over.

You walk will have made you hungry, so we'll stop for lunch before moving to the Tiger Temple. You'll be at the temple early enough to be able to play with the tiger cubs during their afternoon feed time. From there you'll be able to follow the adult tigers down into the Tiger Canyon where they relax during the afternoon.

When you've finished at the Tiger temple we'll drive back into Kanchanaburi where you'll spend the night. You'll have plenty of time to wander around and enjoy the local markets or just relax in one of the local bars.

Day Three

After a good breakfast you'll be ready for some exercise, so we'll take you into the Erawan National Park for a trek through the jungle to the beautiful terraced Erawan waterfalls. You'll have time to relax with a swim here, or just a paddle if you prefer.

We'll stop for lunch at a nice Thai restaurant before going to the elephant camp where you can take a ride on the elephants and enjoy their antics.

If you prefer, instead of Erawan National Park you can go to the newly opened Wildlife Sanctuary.

When you are ready, your driver will take you back to your hotel in Bangkok.
