Irrawaddy Dolphins Tour (Code:1107)
From November to February each year, the murky waters in the estuary of the Bang Pakong River play host to the Irrawaddy dolphin. They come to give birth to their calves and you can see them early in the morning while they are feeding on the eel catfish.Booking Form

07:30 Arrive Bang Pakong River
It's about an hour and a half drive to the river from Bangkok. Take a jacket because the morning breeze is cold on the boat.
08:00 Boat Trip to River Estuary
Morning is the best time because the water is calmer and the dolphins feed in the morning. This is a nature tour so we cannot guarantee that you will actually see these dolphins. However, every time we have been we have seen them. More...
12:00 Lunch at Pla Loma Restaurant
We'll have lunch once the boat gets back to shore. Take a snack with you if you think you can't last the distance!
13:00 Return to your hotel
Around 1:00pm we'll start back to Bangkok.
14:30 Arrive at your hotel
You can expect to be back at your hotel around 4:30pm.

This is a nature tour, so we cannot guarantee that you will see these dolphins. Unlike other dolphins, Irrawaddy Dolphins are shy and will not swim alongside boats or humans, and when scared can dive underwater for 12 minutes. So patience is required, but the rewards are wonderful.
