Hellfire Pass & Konyu Cutting plus Don Rak War Cemetery

Hellfire Pass is the name of a railway cutting on the Death Railway in Kanchanaburi, known by the Japanese as Konyu Cutting. It was built by POWs in World War II. Work was continued by torchlight at night which gave the pass its name. The museum explains to visitors why & how the railway was built.
